Steve uses a structured and professional approach to help the parties find a solution. He is pragmatic, creative and always willing to go the extra mile.

Steve now specialises in mediation and was accredited initially by ADR Group and more recently by CEDR. He is also a mediation trainer, running CMC accredited courses.

As a mediator he takes a facilitative approach, but is good at reality-testing the parties’ options, while helping them to find creative solutions - often to seemingly intractable problems.

Although his specialities are family businesses, contentious probate / inheritance and property disputes (boundaries & rights of way) he has a wide-ranging practice including:

· Sales of commercial equipment / engineering disputes

· Family business disputes including a muti-million-pound shareholder dispute between siblings

· Commercial property disputes

· A number of disputes among directors of charities

· Numerous disputes concerning wills and inheritance
